On May 14, SHSKY will celebrate Syttende Mai at Shillito Park, at Shelter 1. This one is next to a grass vollyball court, so bring your sports shoes if you would like to play. There is electricity at the shelter, and we hope to have a hot dish like meatballs available and members might like to bring side dishes or cupcakes. The reservation covers the shelter for the whole day. We suggest that the food be served at around 5 p.m. We will hope for good weather; if it is not too threatening, we could go ahead as there is a roof over the tables. If the weather is uncertain, I’ll send out a notice.
